The proprietors Sabine and Siegfried Able have run the Marstall tent since 2014 when it replaced the well-known Hippodrom Oktoberfest tent. Glasses of Spaten beer are served here to wash down the excellent cuisine, while selected wines are also available. Images of horses are ubiquitous throughout this eye-catching beer tent which is modelled on the Oktoberfest tents of old.

The Marstall beer tent is very different to the other tents at the Munich Oktoberfest – its carefully thought-out interior has incredible attention to detail, giving it an atmosphere inside more akin to a solid building than a typical beer tent.

Tables can be reserved in advance for the Marstall tent at the Oktoberfest. Since the tent operators occupy a large part of the seats with reservations, it is difficult to get a free seat or even a table without a reservation.
