The Augustiner Festhalle beer tent has been a fixture at the Oktoberfest in Munich since 1898. It is widely known as the friendliest of all the beer tents, which perhaps explains why it’s such a popular choice for families and regulars. It is definitely worth making a reservation in the Augustiner Festhalle if you want to sample the brewery’s festival beer which is still pulled from 200-litre wood casks. Tuesday is “Kid’s day” in the Augustiner beer tent with plenty for youngsters to see and enjoy.
